A deep process of immersion in one of the medicines that XamAM works with. It is something of a lifetime where the initiate commits to honoring the medicine, the Service it provides and the learning process itself.

The tradition of initiation is one year. An initiation, however, is a birth, we know when it begins, but we never know when it ends.

In addition to the principles of the Shamam School (honor, humility, ethics, kindness, responsibility), an initiation requires time, commitment, financial responsibility and a deep commitment to the medicines.

All beings are free; however, there is a commitment on both sides, yours and XamAM's. In this way, everything that is agreed within an adulthood process is possible. No, this process is the XamAM School's doctorate. You will need to work for three years under XamAM's six-monthly supervision in order to earn your certificate for initiating people into the medicine you were initiated into.

Yes, once you have completed your initiation, you will have to do your master's degree from the XamAM School. At first you'll work with small groups and gradually you'll expand your work. All this under the monthly supervision of XamAM for the first six months, then bi-monthly for the other six months and finally four-monthly for the other twelve months.

Yes, depending on your conditions, the value can be negotiated with your talents or with what the Service that XamAM provides to the world needs at the moment. It is important to know that the negotiation cannot exceed 60% of the total value.

This depends on where you live. Here in Brazil it can be by pix, through the bank that the XamAM team will tell you about. Abroad through the wise platform or another one you prefer.

XamAM does not recommend this modality, as medicine is already too demanding.

Yes, at the end of the process you will receive a certificate authorizing you to do what your modality allows you to do. This certificate has the legitimacy of XamAM with its 35 years of uninterrupted work in processes of self-knowledge through shamanism, with thousands of people at national and international level, as well as the Terra Mirim Foundation (FTM - Centro de Luz), 32 years in existence, a community institution consolidated in its process as a Center of Light and Healing, internationally recognized.

Having a godmother or godfather means having a shaman, healer or shaman therapist legitimized by XamAM, i.e. initiated into the process of Shamanism of the Mother Goddess. A person who will guide you through the initiation process, carry out some dynamics and have an enlightening dialog. They do not replace the Shaman, but help, accompany and perform some rites under the supervision of the Shaman; the godmother or godfather will guide the student during the initial rites with the medicine.
